Home Schooling Organization Endorses State Representative Elvira Reyna
Lubbock, Texas, January 31, 2006 - THSC Political Action Committee released its official candidate endorsement list for the
upcoming March primaries. “THSC PAC is proud to announce our endorsement of long-time supporter of parents and home
schooling, State Representative Elvira Reyna,” said THSC PAC Chairman Tim Lambert. “Representative Reyna has been a
staunch supporter of parents’ right to direct the education and upbringing of their children, and we strongly support her in her
reelection bid,” said Lambert.
As part of THSC’s Good Citizenship Program, home schoolers volunteer in their own neighborhoods, supporting candidates with
phone calls, block walking, and other methods. The program is designed to teach children the importance of citizen participation
in the voting process.
“We strongly encourage home schoolers to actively and vigorously support candidates who have been supportive of home schooling
with their time, energy, and resources and Elvira Reyna is at the top of that list,” says Lambert.
THSC PAC endorsements also include candidates for open seats who THSC PAC believes will be supportive of home school
